Region Coordinator Leads host quarterly meetings for North King County, Seattle King County, East King County and South King County. These meetings are open to the public and network partners that serve older adults , younger disabled clients 18 or over, and those caring for someone 18 years old or older. AlzWIN is an AI-powered dementia screening solution using 1 min voice data. It won the CES 2023 Innovation Award and has found 2,000 seniors potentially at risk with dementia for early diagnosis. We want to collaborate with King county organizations to find potential at-risk with dementia seniors and save future care-costs and the happy lives of Americans.

On October 5, the 2023 Aging Network Conference, Resiliency, Reconnect, Re-energize: Adapting to our new normal informed by COVID-19, was hosted by Aging and Disability Services in collaboration with King County’s Older Adult and Healthy Aging team. Held at Sea Mar Museum, participants heard from leaders in the aging field, learned about resources in King County, and networked with staff from other agencies. Professional Development Day

On March 22, 2018 Aging and Disability Services hosted a conference for contracted providers. Over 200 staff, representing 45 agencies and organizations, attended the event to share information about their programs and to increase their knowledge on a range of topics to help them better meet the diverse needs of older adults and people with disabilities in this region.
