Venue
Dear Friends and Partners,
The Seattle Human Services Department, Aging and Disability Services Division, invites you to join us for a Lunch & Learn (bring your own lunch) on Monday, December 17 at 12:00 noon in Room 1610, Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle. At the Lunch and Learn, information will be presented on the Older Adult Community Transportation Request for Proposal (RFP) that will be released in January. This competitive RFP will be used to allocate an annual investment of over $700,000 to improve access to health services and healthy food so that all older adults experience stable health and are able to age in place.
This investment will fund transportation services throughout King County. Funding will be made available in two program areas: Health Services Transportation and Food Access Transportation. Applicants may propose programs that fit either or both program areas. We encourage innovative partnerships with non-profit, for-profit, and public-sector providers. If your organization is any of the above, or if you’d simply like to learn more, we strongly encourage you to attend. This will be the final opportunity to learn about the RFP and provide feedback prior to the release of the RFP.
RSVPs are requested but not required. To RSVP, or to request an accommodation, please contact RFP coordinator, Jon Morrison Winters.
