The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee sponsored by Seattle/King County is hosting “Take a Knee for Justice”- The 50th Anniversary Commemoration MLK Day Rally & March on January 15th at Garfield High School. The morning rally will start at 11:00 am followed by a march at 12:30 pm. An afternoon rally will also be held (location TBA). Speakers include Nikkita Oliver, Gerald Hankerson, Momma Nikki, Claudia Kauffman, Jenny A. Durkan, and Jerrell “RELL BE FREE” Davis.
