How Do I Get a WA Cares Contract?
Obtaining a WA Cares Fund provider contract involves several steps designed to ensure providers are ready to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care to WA Cares Fund beneficiaries. Each step helps confirm that your services meet program requirements and that you have the tools and information needed to support beneficiaries successfully.
- Check Minimum Qualifications
Make sure you meet all applicable licensing, credential, certification, insurance, and background check requirements for the type of services you intend to offer. - Submit an Application
All provider applications are submitted through an online form and routed to the appropriate agency (either the Department of Social and Health Services or a local Area Agency on Aging) based on service type and location. - Contract with DSHS or an AAA
After your application is approved, you’ll enter into a contract that allows you to be listed as a registered WA Cares provider. - Registration & Directory Listing
Once contracted and approved, your information will be added to the WA Cares Provider Directory, where beneficiaries can find and contact you.
