The next South King County (Community Living Connections) network meeting will be via Zoom Wednesday, October 19th  from 10am-12pm. This meeting will be a great opportunity to get updates on current happenings and get to know other professionals, community members and learn about resources in King County.

Meeting Agenda:

  • 10am-10:05: Welcome and CLC Introduction
  • 10:05-10:20 am: Small Break Out Room, Name, Role, Brief Program Introduction
  • 10:20am -10:30am: Carina
    • Nadine Zygaj, Outreach Coordinator for Carina platform will be introducing the free care matching service where professionals can match with those seeking home care.
  • 10:30am-10:45am: Kent Senior Activity Center
    • Hannah Barber, Parks Outreach Coordinator for the Kent Senior Activity Center will be sharing about upcoming Fall and Winter events  and resources available for the seniors in the South King County community
  • 10:45 am -10: 55 am: BREAK
  • 10: 55am -11:10 am – Lutheran Community Services North West
    • Valeriia Kolga, Senior Services Program Supervisor at LCSNW SeaTac  will be sharing about the Angle Lake Community Resource Center, Bilingual Volunteer opportunities for Refugee Seniors and additional Senior Services available for South King County community.
  • 11:10 am – 11:25 am – Auburn Senior Activity Center
    • Jennifer Hurley, Resource Navigation Program Supervisor of the South King County Senior Centers and Resources  will be sharing Senior Activity registration and activities, , Senior Health opportunities and Senior Support Services to residents who can benefit from the partnership of Auburn Senior Activity Center,  Pacific Senior Center and Federal Way Senior Center and Food Bank.
  • 11:30am-11:45am- Small Break Room, Name, Role, Brief Program Introduction
  • 11:45 am-12 pm- Closing Out with ADS City of Seattle Updates
