Join us online for an enriching day of evidence-based education, professional growth, resources and networking opportunities.

The keynote address will be provided by Carl V. Hill, Ph.D., M.P.H., Chief of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at the Alzheimer’s Association. In his address, “Pursuing Health Equity in Alzheimer’s and All Other Dementias,” he will discuss optimizing health for the U.S. population, which requires eliminating disparities and addressing the multiple determinants of health. Major progress can be achieved by focusing on communities at greatest risk and eliminating barriers to quality health services. Cognitive health is no exception. Alzheimer’s and other dementias disproportionately impact African Americans, Hispanics and women. Learn more about how the Alzheimer’s Association is pursuing equity across the organization through research, programs and policy.

Other session topics include:

  • Staying Connected Virtually During COVID and Beyond
  • Cultural Barriers to Care
  • Sexuality in the Context of Dementia
  • Grief and Loss Within the Family System
  • What is MCI?
  • …and much more!
